Infrared heating is often praised as a cosmic technology with exaggerated efficiency or, conversely, as a dangerous source of electromagnetic radiation, as a source of electro-smog or microwave for humans, but there is only one physics and its laws are irreversible, and therefore the following is true:
Space technology – it’s true that the best-known and largest source of infrared radiation is the sun that emits electromagnetic radiation, which changes in heat when impacting on solid or liquid substances, which is also confirmed by the temperature of space, where the temperature is 3 K, i.e. – 270.15 °C, through which this radiation penetrates, but doesn’t heat it .... However, it isn’t a space technology, it’s a physical phenomenon first described by British astronomer Frederic Herschel more than 200 years ago.
Electromagnetic radiation is harmful - the sun radiates infrared radiation, light radiation, i.e. light and ultraviolet radiation, all are electromagnetic radiation components of different wavelengths. Therefore, it’s a natural spread of heat, light and UV radiation. The temperature of radiators, as well as the intensity of the luminaires, are lower in order to be acceptable in the long-term to the human body and the UV radiation component that causes colour changes and ageing not only to the human skin, but also to most materials on this planet, is totally excluded here.
Electro-smog - the internal arrangement of electrical components and the grounded metal cover itself not only prevent the spread of electro-smog, but also the creation of it within the electrical appliance itself. We take this issue seriously, we’re able to solve it and therefore we don’t have to deceive our customers and downplay the influence of electro-smog. Which is our great advantage over a large proportion of the competition.
Infrared radiation is the same as microwave radiation - microwave radiation can only be used for human heating in healthcare under the supervision of physicians, other uses for human heating and objects heating are prohibited. Both rays have different wavelengths, while infrared radiation changes on the surface of solids and liquids into heat, microwaves only change into heat on the surface of some substances, such as water, and therefore they can penetrate through solids that don’t heat on the inside where it’s converted into heat.
Heat always rises to the ceiling - this is what the opposition to ceiling infrared radiation argue with and they still put their hand under the infrared radiator and claim that they can also feel it on their hand, but only from the side of the infrared panel, if there was warm air, they would also feel warmth coming from the floor. This myth started because of people don’t differentiate between the three basic physical infrared heat diffusion, conduction and gas flow (air-convection). For example, warm air from water or electric convectors, really rises to the ceiling as it expands by warming-up, thereby reducing its bulk density and expelling it through cooler air to the ceiling. The infrared beam spreads perpendicular to the source, however, even when viewed by the naked eye the source surface has a porous uneven surface, so we can imagine this radiation to be similar to light from a hand-held torch (a cone without a sharp border).
Ceiling panels cause baldness - this statement has never been scientifically substantiated, but it has been proved that staying under a panel which is suspended below the minimum recommended height from the manufacturer can cause nausea and headache, so in rooms with low ceiling, panels can only be installed in places where no one is expected to be staying under the panel over longer periods of time.
